Forever nailpolish

when we went to pennsylvania for thanksgiving, mom and i went for a relaxing mani and pedi at her local salon in leola.

as we were getting our toes done she started talking about this new nail polish from opi that lasts just about forever.

do it karen, i heard over and over, and my gut said don't do it karen, but i let momma talk me into it and now here i am 6 weeks later with retarded fingernails.

hubby suggested polishing over it while it grows out, what do you think? a good route? nope. well i guess the ridges are hardly noticeable with my ugly fingers.

of course there are other methods of getting it (the polish) off, one of which read, "soak in acetone for 20 minutes" (that doesn't sound healthy) another was to wrap fingertips with aluminum foil after placing a cotton ball soaked in acetone on the nail. hmm...

i never wanted to get in on the acrylic fingernail craze and somehow i was talked into a thinner version of acrylic nails. MOMMA!!!

don't do it. it takes a long time to grow out!
